Dale E. Scott, CRX, CDP serves as Director at Hawkins
Construction, Inc. Mr. Scott was Chair of ICSC/IMRA’s Joint Task Force for the
International Building Codes, resulting in favorable industry rulings. As past
chair of the ICSC CenterBuild Conference he currently serves on the CenterBuild
Advisory Council. Dale was Chair of ICSC’s Florida Conference, the nation’s
third largest commercial real estate conference. He was a founding member and
Chair of the West Florida Idea Exchange, past co-chair of the Central Florida
Planning Committee, and an active participant in ICSC’s Government Relations
efforts, both state and federal. Dale was a member of the CDP (Certified
Development, Design and Construction Professional) Governing Committee,
currently holding both the CDP and CRX designations.
Mr. Scott is
currently the ICSC Southern Division Lead Ambassador, and served as the ICSC
Florida State Director for three years, He is a recipient of the prestigious
ICSC’s Trustees Distinguished Services Award, a 2004 inductee into the Retail
Construction Hall of Fame, and is listed as an Honored Member of the Who’s Who
in Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Scott has published numerous articles, speaks
frequently at many industry conferences, a guest lecturer at the university
level and a contributor to many industry reports.
