Ken McIntyre, CRX


Ken McIntyre, CRX is Founder and Managing Principal for PassPort Real Estate. LLC in New York City, a consulting firm focused on advising clients on various areas of commercial real estate finance, including debt and equity sourcing and structuring, and strategic advice on creating investing platforms and vehicles. Mr. McIntyre has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate finance, including senior and structured debt origination, portfolio management, equity acquisitions and building real estate finance platforms. He has been involved in the origination, pricing and/or approval of over $20 billion of commercial mortgages and over $1.5 billion of real estate equity. 

Mr. McIntyre is a former Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Real Estate at Hudson City Savings Bank a $40 billion bank acquired by M&T Bank in 2015. Prior to joining Hudson City, Ken was a Managing Director in MetLife’s Real Estate Investments Group with various responsibilities across both the debt and equity portfolios, including: Head of Equity Acquisitions; Head of Strategic Initiatives; Head of Real Estate Capital Markets and Head of Commercial Mortgage Production and Pricing. All of these positions had global responsibility.   Concurrently, Mr. McIntyre was the Senior Real Estate Officer for the MetLife Bank and frequently participated on the Investment Committee for Commercial Mortgages. Prior to joining MetLife, Mr. McIntyre held senior origination and relationship management roles at KeyBank, GE Capital Real Estate, UBS and Chase.  Mr. McIntyre graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Economics and a concentration in Banking and Finance.  He is a frequent speaker at industry events and published in industry periodicals. He also is a former trustee and Treasurer of ICSC; an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Real Estate Roundtable (RER), Real Estate Lenders Association (RELA) and a founding member of Real Estate Networking Trust (R*E*N*T) and the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC). Additionally, Mr. McIntyre formerly served on the advisory boards of Real Estate Advisory Committee for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Council of Urban Real Estate (CURE). 

Mr. McIntyre will conduct a "Master Mentor Class" on Monday, May 22, 1:00 - 1:30 pm in the Talent Development Pavilion.
