Katie
Mahon is the Managing Director of the New York Tri-State Retail
Brokerage Services at Cushman & Wakefield. She oversees and manages the day
to day activities of 65+ Retail Brokers 20+ Office Brokers and 25
administrative and marketing support staff. She is responsible for the
management of resources, finances, and control over the revenue pipeline, recruiting,
broker training, and the overall communications for the region. Katie’s primary
focus is Deliver Leadership to the NY Tristate Region with accountability for
the overall strategic direction and execution of the operations for the retail
platform.
Ms. Mahon possesses over 14 years in the commercial real estate
industry. Prior to joining Cushman and Wakefield, Inc., she was the Managing
Director of Brokerage Services & Operations for the New York Tri-State
Region at Cassidy Turley. She handled business development and the overall
marketing of firm’s full-service capabilities. She coordinated and communicated
for the regional profit center, which included Capital Markets (Investment
Sales and Finance), Consulting, Leasing (Landlord and Tenant Representation),
Marketing, Research and Administrative Support Staff.
Katie started her career at Insignia/ESG as a legal assistant and
post-merger to become CB Richard Ellis, a research analyst in the Retail
service line. She left CB Richard Ellis as the Operations Manager of the New
York Tri-State Region for Retail Services. In that role, she oversaw the
day-to-day operation for seven retail locations throughout New York, New Jersey
and Connecticut. She guided the region’s retail brokerage associates and support
staff – a team of more than 45 professionals. Ms. Mahon was successful in
implementing company policies and regulations among the retail teams, as well
as managing associate training and long-term development plans. Katie is a Member
of Real Estate Board of New York and ICSC. She has a Bachelor of Arts in
Business Administration, Pace University.
