Gordon Keig

Gordon Keig is the Principal of Pennant Development in Scottsdale, AZ. Pennant Development was formed in January 2015 and is focused on investing and developing neighborhood shopping centers in the Southwest.

Prior to forming Pennant Development, Mr. Keig was a Development Partner with  Kornwasser Shopping Center Properties (KSCP) and has developed and/or owns shopping centers in eight western states. During his tenure with KSCP, he developed neighborhood and community shopping centers with anchor tenants such as Target, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Albertson’s, WinCo Foods, CVS, Walgreens and many other national and regional retailers and restaurants.

Mr. Keig was the Southwest Division Senior Real Estate Manager at Albertson’s, Inc. from 1996 – 2003. He was responsible for the development of Albertson’s Grocery Stores, Osco/Sav-On Drug Stores and A-Express Fuel Centers in Arizona, New Mexico, West Texas and Southern Nevada. 

From 2008 - 2011, Mr. Keig served as the Arizona/New Mexico State Director for ICSC. He remains an active participant in many of ICSC’s statewide and regional programs and is currently serving as ICSC’s Western Division Government Relations Chair and Western Division Lead Ambassador. Mr. Keig graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College (Claremont, CA).  

Mr. Keig will present  "Think Like a Broker, Think Like a Retailer, Think Like a Developer: How to Deal with Different Professional Approaches and Personality Types," on Wednesday, May 24,  9:30 - 10:00 am in the Talent Development Pavilion.

He will also be participating in the “Speed Networking Event,” at the Talent Development Pavilion, Tuesday May 23, 8:00-9:00 am. 

He is available for individual mentoring sessions.
